About Us
Imaging Ethics Alert was created as a joint effort between four companies, Imatest, Image Engineering, Applied Image, and Imaging Science Associates, to alert the global imaging science community of unauthorized resellers falsely representing themselves to sell counterfeit and unapproved products and services. After several customers were adversely affected by phony products, leaders at each company felt it paramount to join together to alert the global imaging science community in hopes of protecting customers.

To members of the global imaging science industry:
Imatest, Image Engineering, Applied Image, and Image Science Associates have united to take action against unauthorized resellers of our products and to make you aware of counterfeit products that are being sold.
Counterfeit products jeopardize the validity of the testing process without customers being aware of it and create serious risks for customers trying to conform to regulatory standards or produce products that affect people’s lives (e.g. automotive and medical devices).
We want you to have the best possible experience with our products and services, from pre-sales to support. This experience can only be achieved by buying directly from our companies or from an authorized reseller.
We have become aware of companies that are falsely representing themselves as authorized resellers. The companies listed below may be selling unauthorized and/or counterfeit software, charts, targets, and hardware.
We have contacted these companies and asked them to stop representing themselves as authorized resellers. They have refused to cooperate, demonstrating a persistent disregard for honesty and good business practices. Customers should be wary of doing any business with them.
While we stand behind products sold by us and our authorized resellers, we do not support products sold by unauthorized resellers. If you have been a victim of an unauthorized reseller, please contact the appropriate support team for help.
